Current marine/sea-state conditions for an ocean or coastal coordinate. Pass lat + lon. Returns significant wave height (m), wave direction + period, and the wind-wave and swell-wave components. Useful for surf, sailing, and coastal ops. Source: Open-Meteo marine (keyless). Returns 404 for inland points.
/api/weather/marinePAYMENT-SIGNATURE.The marine API is a pay-per-call weather endpoint built for AI agents and autonomous software. Current marine/sea-state conditions for an ocean or coastal coordinate.
There is no signup and no API key. An agent (or any HTTP client) hits the endpoint, receives an x402 "402 Payment Required" challenge, signs a sub-cent USDC payment on Base or Solana, and retries — the data comes back on the paid request. That makes it a drop-in marine data source for an agent tool-use loop, an MCP host, or a backend that needs weather data on demand without onboarding to yet another vendor portal.
